Rayner M-flex® T Multifocal Toric IOLs
Hydrophilic Acrylic Injectable Multifocal Toric
IOLs with Amon-Apple Enhanced Square Edge
Standard multifocal IOLs are often contraindicated for patients with >1.5D of corneal astigmatism. With Rayner M-flex®T Multifocal Toric IOLs, the combination of multifocal and toric optical components allows the potential benefit of reduced spectacle dependence to be extended to patients with significant corneal astigmatism.
Rayner M-flex® Multifocal IOLs (588F and 638F) are based on a multi-zoned refractive aspheric optic technology, with either 4 or 5 annular zones (depending on IOL base power) providing +3.0D or +4.0D of additional refractive power at the IOL plane (equivalent to +2.25D or +3.0D at the spectacle plane). M-flex® IOLs are noted for their excellent multifocal correction with a marked absence of halos and glare. Furthermore, unlike diffractive IOLs, which are associated with a significant loss of light transmission (typically 18 – 20%) resulting in a corresponding reduction in contrast sensitivity, M-flex® IOLs are associated with superior visual outcomes.
Rayner T-flex® Toric IOLs are designed to offer a precise, superior alternative to incisional methods for the treatment of pre-existing corneal astigmatism. Unlike plate-haptic and multi-piece toric IOLs, T-flex® IOLs have an inherent rotational stability. Superb visual outcomes are achieved because of the dependable absence of rotation in lenses designed with Rayner’s AVH Technology®.
Rayner M-flex®T Multifocal Toric IOLs combine the separate optical features of the parent models, M-flex® and T-flex®, to provide a superior multifocal outcome with an accurate, predictable and sustainable toric correction.
In addition to excellent multifocal toric correction, M-flex®T Multifocal Toric IOLs offer all the additional advantages of IOLs in the Rayner injectable IOL range.
