airway geometry creates a pressure gradient force which increasing airflow by 50%. Increased airflow allows better nasal breathing and easier clearing of nasal secretions minimizing blockage. The lubricity of the splints’ medical grade silicone enables ease of insertion, removal and is gentle on delicate nasal tissue. At the anterior tip, each splint has a suture indicator for easier suture placement through the splint and septum to present posterior dislodgement.
The nonstick characteristics of this splint reduce adhesion and/or hematoma formation. Each splint is slit to facilitate insertion and removal and each provides pre-punched holes for easier suturing. Splints are available in two sizes with two thicknesses for each size.
